Dictionary and the Guest Defamer

From a blog I used to have called Otherpeoplesblogs.

desiccated – Granted, a good word for dry and lifeless. Not used much though.

oenephilic – Is a modern word, and not really used in a way that the ancients would like. (Most dictionaries do not include the word.) He has used it twice this week, both times when talking about “Sideways”. (I had a professor in college that forbade the use of this word. )

I kind get the feeling that Guest Editor Defamer didn’t like “Sideways”. Must be a New York thing.
